Weapon type badge for collar patches - "Chemical Troops, Technical Security Service, Military Technical and Fire Schools" ("Химические войска, военно-технические училища снабжения горюче-смазочными материалами. пожарные училища, общевойсковой военно-технический состав"). A version introduced in 1943 and finally withdrawn from use in 1986.
The badge changed its meaning several times - from 1943 to 1973 it was the Chemical Troops, in 1955 the Technical Services were added, in 1956 the Military Technical and Fire Schools. In 1973 the Chemical Forces received a new pattern of badge, and this pattern remained as the badge for the Technical Services, Military Technical and Fire Schools. In 1986, this badge was finally abolished.
Fixing with the "moustache" or to the stick with the screw cap - depending on the availability.
